Colton Nickelson

Colton Nickelson has a diverse background in media and broadcasting, currently serving as a Radio Broadcast Engineer at South Dakota Public Broadcasting since May 2022. Additionally, Colton has been a Stage Video Director for The Legendary Buffalo Chip since July 2015, overseeing camera operations and video board management for major concert events. Previous roles include Director of Sports Media and Marketing at Black Hills State University, where Colton managed athletic communications and game production, and served as an Adjunct Instructor for sports broadcasting and mass communication. Colton's experience also includes positions in video production, marketing, and game operations across various organizations, supported by a Master’s degree in Mass Communication-Journalism from South Dakota State University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Mass Communication/Multimedia and Graphic Design from Black Hills State University.
