Kristen Kponyoh

Kristen Kponyoh serves as the Assistant Director at South Dakota State University’s Graduate School and previously held the role of Graduate Student Services Coordinator. Since April 2015, Kristen has effectively managed graduate student services, facilitated orientations for new students, and overseen the academic probation process. Key accomplishments include establishing a review system for student progression, implementing a paperless form system, and developing the Graduate Student Professional Development Program. Prior experience includes roles at the University of Northern Iowa as an International Student Advisor, and various internships in financial aid and social work. Kristen holds a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Northern Iowa and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Social Work from Southwest Minnesota State University.
