Marc Neil currently serves as the Director of Unscheduled Care, Medicine and Cancer Services at South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust, overseeing urgent and emergency care delivery for a community of over 350,000 people and managing over 1,800 staff. Previously, Marc held various leadership positions within the South Eastern HSC Trust, including Assistant Director of Unscheduled Care and Unscheduled Care Improvement Lead, where responsibilities included managing services that handle over 150,000 emergency department visits annually and leading strategic improvement initiatives across a complex health system. Marc's earlier experiences include roles as Project Manager for acute services at Northern Health and Social Care Trust and Quality and Delivery Specialist at Alamac Ltd, alongside a strong educational background with an MSc in Health and Public Leadership from Manchester Business School and an MEng in Chemical Engineering from Queen's University Belfast.

The South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust was established on 1st April 2007 and is one of 5 Trusts in total within Northern Ireland. The Trust is an integrated organisation, incorporating acute hospital services, community health and social services and serves a population of approx 345,000 people with a budget of almost £500 million. The Trust covers the local government districts of Ards, North Down, Down and Lisburn. The main hospital bases are: Ards Community Hospital, Bangor Community Hospital, Downe Hospital, Downshire Hospital, Lagan Valley Hospital and the Ulster Hospital.
