Jeneissy Azcuy

Jeneissy Azcuy has a diverse range of work experience in various marketing, communications, and education outreach roles. Jeneissy currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Marketing, Communications, and Education Outreach at South Florida PBS, where they are responsible for creating and implementing strategic marketing and communication plans. Jeneissy has extensive experience in managing relationships with key stakeholders and supporting the station's mission and goals. Prior to this role, Jeneissy held positions as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at South Florida PBS and the Director of Corporate Communications. Jeneissy has also worked at WPBT2 - South Florida PBS and WXEL South Florida PBS as the Senior Director of Communications and Marketing as well as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at WPBT2 - South Florida PBS, WXEL - South Florida PBS, and Health Channel. Before joining the PBS organizations, Jeneissy worked as a Director at Talent and Model Group and as a Communications Director at The Related Group. Jeneissy also has experience as a Communications Director at WLRN Public Radio and Television and as an English Teacher at Miami-Dade County Public Schools.

Jeneissy Azcuy pursued their education starting in 1986 at Florida International University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English in 1990. Jeneissy later attended Barry University from 1990 to 1994 and obtained a Master's degree in Communication, specializing in Communication, General. On top of their academic achievements, Jeneissy Azcuy also obtained a certification in "Preventing Discrimination & Harassment: US Managers Edition V5" from Traliant in April 2023.
