Aubrey Frye

Aubrey Frye, M.S., is an accomplished environmental scientist with extensive experience in aquatic and terrestrial ecology. Currently serving as Lead Scientist and Senior Project Manager at the South Florida Water Management District since July 2019, Aubrey has held various project management roles within the organization. Prior experience includes positions as a Field Biologist at Db Environmental Inc. and a Sea Turtle Research Technician at Loggerhead Marinelife Center, where responsibilities involved conducting beach surveys and documenting sea turtle activity. Additional research experience includes serving as a Lab Assistant at The Scripps Research Institute and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University, focusing on wildlife monitoring and data analysis. Academic achievements include a Master of Science in Soil and Water Sciences from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources/Conservation from Iowa State University.
