Neil McQueen

Neil McQueen serves as the Group Director of IT for South Hampshire College Group since November 2023, where responsibilities include implementing a new group-wide infrastructure that integrates best practices from Fareham College, Eastleigh College, and City College Southampton. Prior to this, Neil held the position of IT Director at Fareham College from September 2016 to November 2023, managing the technology environment and executing a three-year technology roadmap focused on innovation and standardization. Neil's earlier experience includes roles as Head of Information Technology and IT Infrastructure & Systems Manager at South Downs College, where strategic growth initiatives and infrastructure management were key responsibilities, along with initial work as a SharePoint Administrator. Neil's educational background includes a Level 5 Leadership & Management degree from Fareham College and various certifications from Microsoft Virtual Academy and Firebrand, alongside foundational GCSEs from The Hayling College.
