Claire Johnson

Claire Johnson is an experienced urban designer currently working with South Hams District Council & West Devon Borough Council, where responsibilities include providing urban design input and advice to support high-quality planning outcomes. Prior roles include serving as a Major Development Assistant at Devon County Council, contributing to the planning of significant urban extensions, and working as an Architectural Assistant at various firms, including Atkins and Alex Oliver Associates Limited, where expertise was developed in architectural design, site appraisal, and heritage conservation. Claire Johnson's educational background includes an MSc in Urban Design & City Planning from UCL, and a MA (Hons) in Architecture from The University of Edinburgh, complemented by a Master of Architecture from Manchester School of Architecture.
