Theresa Forshey

Theresa Forshey is a senior quality engineer at Cook Medical since February 2015, specializing in quality engineering activities such as verification and validation, complaint investigations, and product quality issues. Concurrently, Theresa serves as a volunteer rescue technician and EMT with the South Orange Rescue Squad, where leadership roles included Secretary and Board Member, as well as Technical Rescue Team Lead. Previous volunteer experience includes emergency services with several fire departments and rescue organizations. In earlier career roles, Theresa has worked in biotech development and embedded systems consulting, focusing on prototype development and microcontroller applications. Theresa holds dual PhDs in Biomedical Engineering with a focus in Neuroscience from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from North Carolina State University, further complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering.
