Carole Lynn Simmons

Carole Lynn Simmons has over a decade of experience in higher education, currently serving as the Director of College Compliance and previously holding roles such as Program Coordinator for Continuing Education and Administrative Assistant to the Director of Human Resources Development at South Piedmont Community College since November 2010. In addition, Carole Lynn has been active as a blogger for Tarry There since May 2020, sharing insights on gardening and spirituality. Prior involvement with Matthews Toastmasters included leadership positions such as President, Immediate Past President, and Vice President of Education, where efforts focused on membership growth and program promotion. Carole Lynn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Geography from the University of South Carolina, earned between 1973 and 1976.
