Ryan Anthony

Ryan Anthony possesses extensive experience in academia and law enforcement. Currently serving as Dean of the School of Health and Public Services and the School of Health and Public Safety at South Piedmont Community College since January 2021, Ryan has also been an Associate Adjunct Instructor at College of the Canyons since August 2015. Previous academic roles include Adjunct Instructor at Los Angeles Community College District from August 2016 to January 2024, Assistant Professor at El Camino College from August 2018 to January 2021, and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Antelope Valley College from August 2014 to January 2021. Ryan's law enforcement background includes positions as a Police Officer for the City of Beverly Hills (March 2008 - February 2014) and the City of San Fernando (July 2004 - March 2008), as well as a Community Service Officer/Cadet for the City of Newport Beach (September 2001 - May 2004). Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, Law and Society from UC Irvine and a Master of Organizational Leadership from Woodbury University.
