Keith Sessions has extensive experience in fire and rescue operations, currently serving as Fire Captain at South Snohomish County Fire & Rescue since October 2018 and holding a similar position with the City of Lynnwood since July 2003. Prior to these roles, Keith Sessions began a career as a Firefighter with the City of Lynnwood and also served as a Fire Protection Specialist in the United States Air Force from February 1986 to June 1995.

South Snohomish County Fire & Rescue is a Regional Fire Authority (RFA) that staffs 14 stations 24/7, serving more than 250,000 residents in unincorporated Southwest Snohomish County and the Cities of Lynnwood, Brier, Edmonds, and Mountlake Terrace; responding annually to more than 35,000 fire and emergency medical calls. All firefighters are certified as either emergency medical technicians or paramedics. Firefighters specializing in hazardous material response and technical rescue are on duty daily. South Snohomish County Fire & Rescue also has staff members assigned full time to community relations, fire prevention and public education.
