Deborah Grady

Executive Director at South Sound 911

Prior to leading South Sound 911, Deborah Grady was the Public Safety Communications Manager for the Sacramento Police Department and the Executive Director of SNOCOM 911 in Mountlake Terrace, Wash., from 2009‐2015.

Ms. Grady’s experience in California also included serving as Communications Manager for the City of Carlsbad Police Department and Support Services Supervisor for the City of Murrieta Police Department.

She has a bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Chapman University and a master’s degree in Administration‐Leadership from Central Michigan University.

South Sound 911

South Sound 911 is a recognized expert in building police and fire dispatch interoperability. The agency now operates two 911 centers in Pierce County, Wash., and together they answer nearly 1 million calls annually and provide dispatch services for 19 law enforcement and 18 fire/EMS agencies.
