Mumin Islam

Mumin Islam has extensive experience in the water industry, with a focus on roles related to pricing reviews and water resource management. Mumin is currently the Head of Price Review at both South Staffs Water and Cambridge Water since 2021. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2021, Mumin worked at Affinity Water as a Water Resources Planning Manager, where they were responsible for leading a team in the delivery of the company's Water Resources Management Plan. Earlier in their career, Mumin held various positions at Thames Water, including Metering Stakeholder Liaison Manager, Local & Regional Government Liaison, Project Manager, Leakage Optimisation Manager West, and Leakage Optimisation Engineer. Mumin also completed a water graduate program at Thames Water, gaining experience in different areas such as major projects, desalination, health and safety, environment, pollution control, and clean water networks. Mumin began their career in 2007 as a Graduate Engineer at South Staffs Water.

Mumin Islam pursued their education at UCL from 2003 to 2007, where they completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Chemical Engineering.
