Ian Vaca

Ian Vaca is a registered nurse with extensive experience in various healthcare settings. Currently serving at South Texas Spine & Surgical Hospital since September 2019, Ian previously worked as an emergency room nurse at Methodist Health System from February 2018 to August 2019. Ian's career in the United States Air Force spanned over two decades, where significant roles included Superintendent of Medical Nursing Services at a Level 1 Trauma Center, managing numerous departments and personnel, and leading specialized wards such as Bone Marrow Transplant and Neonatal Intensive Care. Ian's educational background includes an Associate's Degree in Nursing from Yuba College and training in Practical Nursing Technology, alongside a focus on Bioenvironmental Engineering and Occupational Safety at the Community College of the Air Force.
