Dean Lederfeind

Dean Lederfeind, LCSW has extensive work experience in the field of social work. Dean began their career in 1999 as an MIS Specialist for Brannan Sand and Gravel, where they were responsible for creating the IT department and implementing IT and security policies. In 2001, they became an MIS Director at The Wall Street Discount Corporation, managing the IT department and overseeing operational procedures.

In 2004, Dean transitioned to the healthcare industry, joining Advanced Behavioral Health, Inc. as a Program Manager for the Behavioral Health Data System (BHDS). In this role, they served as a liaison between the organization, government agencies, and provider agencies, ensuring the quality of data collection and reporting. Dean also acted as the Privacy Officer and Diversity Trainer.

In 2008, Dean took on the role of Assistant Program Director at Cornell Scott - Hill Health Corporation. Dean was responsible for administrative duties, client care planning, and counseling services.

Dean's work experience also includes roles at Blue Sky Behavioral Health, Connecticut Mental Health Specialists, Jewish Family Service, and American Well, where they served as a therapist, providing online mental health services.

Since 2012, Dean has been involved with Southwest Community Health Center Inc, initially as a Therapist/Sole Proprietor in their private practice. Dean later assumed the position of Behavioral Health Clinical Services Director, providing clinical oversight for the agency's behavioral health programs. Currently, they serve as the Chief of Behavioral Health Clinical Services.

Throughout their career, Dean has demonstrated a strong commitment to delivering quality mental health services and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Dean Lederfeind, LCSW received their Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Denver, where they studied from 1987 to 1996.
