Ben Patten

Ben Patten is a seasoned mining engineering professional with extensive experience at South32, where roles have included Mining Engineering Manager, Longwall Manager, Production Manager, and Mine Services Manager since August 2018. Prior experience at South32 from 2015 to 2018 encompassed positions such as Undermanager and Improvement Superintendent. Earlier in the career, Ben worked at BHP from 2010 to 2015 in various capacities including Process Coordinator and Mining Supervisor, and began as an Underground Mine Worker at WDS Limited from 2007 to 2009. Ben holds both a Master of Business Administration from Sydney Business School, University of Wollongong, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering from the University of Wollongong and the University of Alberta.
