Dave Henderson

Dave Henderson has a diverse work experience in the mining and geology industry. Dave started their career as an Exploration Geologist at Vale in 2008, where they supervised and logged RC and sonic drill programs. Dave then worked as a Dive Instructor at GET WET for a short period in 2009. Henderson then joined BHP Billiton in 2009 as a Quality Control Geologist, responsible for ore quality control and daily product haulage instructions. Dave later transitioned into the role of an Exploration Geologist, where they estimated resources and supervised RC programs. In 2015, Henderson joined South32 as a Quality Control Geologist, and later held positions as Senior Geologist and Senior Logistics Planner. In their most recent role as the Principal Sales and Operations Planning, they currently lead and oversees planning, scheduling, and forecasting operations.

Dave Henderson obtained their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from The University of Waikato, where they studied from 2003 to 2007.
