Jenna Tan BComm(Hons) CPA GAICD has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Consultant at Ernst & Young before moving on to BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance in 2007. At BHP, they served as a Management Accountant and later as a Business Analyst, where they were involved in various projects such as mine expansions and financial modeling. In 2010, Jenna joined Peabody Energy as a Senior Business Analyst, where they developed strategies and models to optimize operational efficiency and value. Jenna then took on roles at Vale, starting as a Senior Business Analyst and eventually becoming the Financial Controller and Director. In 2018, Jenna became the Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Platinum Blasting Services. Currently, they are working at South32 as the Director of Finance, overseeing finance operations and business evaluations. Throughout their career, Jenna has demonstrated strong financial expertise and strategic skills.
Jenna Tan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting & Finance (Hons) from the University of Melbourne, which was completed from 2002 to 2005. Jenna also completed the CPA Australia Program from 2007 to 2010, earning the CPA designation. In 2018, Jenna completed the Graduate course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Additionally, they hold a Masters degree in Project Management from The University of Queensland, which was obtained in 2010.
