Skylie Estep

Skylie Estep, SHRM-SCP, is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience in strategic HR leadership, particularly in the mining and resource sectors. Currently serving as the Human Resources Director for North America at South32 since June 2019, Skylie focuses on the Hermosa Project and oversees Joint Venture Partnerships, Exploration, and Corporate Development. Previously, Skylie held roles including Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Business Partner at South32, where responsibilities encompassed workforce development and establishing competitive employee value propositions. Prior experience includes positions as Recruitment Manager at Brooks & Nelson, LLC, and Senior Talent Acquisition Representative at Newmont Corporation, along with a background in technical recruitment at Barrick Gold Corporation. Skylie holds a degree from Shawnee State University.
