Thabo Manne

Thabo Manne has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. thabo currently holds the position of Manager Social Compliance at Petra Diamonds- Cullinan Diamond Mine since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at South32 where they had multiple roles including Lead: Government Community Stakeholder Relations, Head of Corporate Affairs, and Manager: SLP / Community and Gov Relations from December 2016 to November 2022. Thabo also worked at BHP Billiton Hotazel Manganese Mines as the Manager: SLP / Community and Gov Relations from January 2011 to November 2016. Earlier in their career, they worked at Petra Diamonds as a CSI SLP and community liaison from July 2007 to December 2010. Thabo's work experience also includes roles at De Beers- Cullinan Diamond Mine as a CSI/Community Development and Liaison Superintendent and Community Wellness and CSI Superintendent from May 2004 to June 2007 and January 2001 to April 2004, respectively. thabo started their career as a Clinical Social Worker at Dr Fabian and Florence Ribeiro Treatment Centre from November 1995 to December 2001.

From 1991 to 1995, Thabo Manne studied Social Work at the University of North West, earning an Honours degree in SOC SC SW.
