Lorna O'Connell

Lorna O'Connell has extensive work experience in the events and arts industry. Lorna is currently employed as a Senior Events Manager - Commercial at Southbank Centre since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Events & Visitor Services at Lyric Hammersmith from March 2019 to January 2022. Lorna also served as the Operations & Events Manager at Cambridge Live from September 2015 to March 2019. Before that, they worked as an Operations Coordinator at Greenwich Dance from September 2010 to September 2015, and as a Programme Coordinator at Step Out Arts from October 2009 to September 2010.

Lorna O'Connell pursued their education at Middlesex University from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Dance Performance, specializing in Visual and Performing Arts. Following this, they attended Trinity Laban from 2008 to 2009, where they pursued a Master's degree in Dance Science, focusing on Kinesiology and Exercise Science.
