Mary McQuilkin, NP, MPH, serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Alaska Anchorage, teaching epidemiology to graduate students. As an Itinerant Nurse Practitioner with Southcentral Foundation, Mary provides primary care services in rural clinics for Alaska Native communities. Previously, Mary worked as an Epidemiologist for the CDC's Arctic Investigations Program, where responsibilities included managing epidemiologic research studies. Other notable roles include serving as a Quarantine Medical Officer at SFO International Airport and managing a primary care clinic in a Syrian refugee camp. Mary holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Johns Hopkins University, an MSN-NP, and an MPH with a focus on Occupational and Environmental Health Nursing from Johns Hopkins.
