Melissa Appleton

Melissa Appleton, MBA, PMP, PMI-ACP, currently serves as a Senior Project and Portfolio Manager at Southcoast Health since March 2022. Prior experience includes Project Manager at DePuy Synthes Companies from May 2020 to March 2022 and Program Manager at Newton-Wellesley Hospital from 2013 to May 2020, focusing on projects aimed at enhancing patient and employee experiences. Earlier roles include Practice Manager for the Neuromuscular Diagnostic Center at Massachusetts General Hospital (2005–2013) and Operations Manager overseeing non-clinical operations across five inpatient units. Melissa began her career as a Senior Trainer at Brown Brothers Harriman (2000–2005), where business and technology training was developed and presented. Melissa holds an MBA from Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School and a BA from UMass Boston.
