Rebecca Barkaway

Rebecca Barkaway is an experienced professional in the mental health and probation sectors, currently serving as Service Lead for Mental Health Services at Southdown since April 2017. Previously, Rebecca held various roles at Their Majesty's Prison and Probation Service, including Sessional Probation Officer and several positions as a Probation Officer from 2000 to 2009. Additional experience includes serving as Volunteer Services Coordinator and Inspire Mentoring Coordinator at Brighton Women's Centre from 2014 to 2017, and Child Contact Centre Manager at the Salvation Army in 2009-2010. Rebecca holds an MA in Migration Studies from the University of Sussex, a BA in Community Justice and Diploma in Probation Studies from the University of Portsmouth, and a BA in Politics with Development Studies from the University of Sussex.
