John Whipple

John Whipple has a diverse work experience in the legal industry. John is currently working as an Associate General Counsel at SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) since November 2022. From 2021 to 2022, they served as the Interim Chief Legal Officer at Providence St. Joseph Health. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at Providence Health & Services, where they held various roles including Deputy General Counsel from 2012 to 2022 and Associate General Counsel from 2008 to 2012. John also worked as a Senior Attorney at Providence Health & Services from 1999 to 2008. Before joining Providence Health & Services, they worked as an Associate at Latham & Watkins from 1995 to 1999.

John Whipple attended UC San Diego from 1988 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued their law education at the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings), from 1992 to 1995, and obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law.
