Kalina Patel

Kalina Patel has a diverse work experience, primarily in the field of eye care. Kalina started their career as an Optometric Assistant at Morris Avenue Eyecare in 2010, followed by a role as an Optometric Assistant at East Cobb Eye Center from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, they worked as a Patient Coordinator at Woolfson Eye Institute before joining Kroger as a Pharmacy Technician from 2006 to 2013.

In 2013, they joined SouthEast Eye Specialists as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician until 2016. Kalina then transitioned to the role of Clinical Trainer and Compliance Manager until 2018. In 2018, they worked at SEES Group as an Operations and Purchasing Associate until 2019.

Kalina returned to SouthEast Eye Specialists in 2019, this time as an Associate Executive Director until 2020. Lastly, they held the position of Executive Director at SouthEast Eye Specialists from September 2020 onwards.

Kalina Patel earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, which they attended from 2006 to 2010. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management at the Florida Institute of Technology, completing their degree in 2015.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Kalina Patel has obtained several certifications. In 2013, they became a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant through the American Optometric Association. In 2015, they achieved the status of a Certified Ophthalmic Technician from IJCAHPO. Kalina further enhanced their expertise in the field by obtaining an Ophthalmic Scribe Certification from JCAHPO in February 2016. Furthermore, they obtained the Zumba Gold License and Zumba License from Zumba in June 2017.
