Youth Workforce Paid Work Experience Coordinator at Southeast Michigan Community Alliance

Beatrice Benjamin, EdS, currently serves as the Youth Workforce Paid Work Experience Coordinator at Southeast Michigan Community Alliance and holds positions as a Clinical Instructional Coach at Wayne State University and Lead State Trainer for EWIMS with the Michigan Department of Education. With previous experience as an Interim Curriculum Director at Woodhaven-Brownstown School District and an Academic Coordinator at Redford Union School District, Beatrice also has a long tenure at Taylor School District, where roles included School Improvement Coordinator, Curriculum Specialist, Professional Development Coordinator, Elementary School Principal, and Elementary School Teacher. Additionally, Beatrice has contributed to professional development as a presenter for the American Federation of Teachers AFL-CIO. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching and a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Eastern Michigan University, along with an Education Specialist degree from Capella University in Superintendency and Educational System Administration.
