Melinda Sinning Edd, Mt (ASCP)

Melinda Sinning EdD, MT (ASCP) is an accomplished Associate Professor at Southeast Missouri Hospital College of Nursing and Health Sciences, serving since March 2010. In this role, Melinda provides LMS faculty support and instructs courses within the General Education program, focusing on microbiology, anatomy and physiology I/II, immunology, and pathophysiology. Additionally, Melinda is a faculty member in the Medical Laboratory Scientist program, emphasizing the preparation of students for clinical laboratory careers through didactic and clinical experiences. Prior to this, Melinda worked as a Midnight Laboratory Supervisor at Southeast Missouri Hospital from 2005 to 2010, overseeing a team of medical laboratory professionals and staff. Melinda's educational background includes a Master's degree in Biology from Clemson University, an EdD in Curriculum and Instruction, an MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix, a certificate in Clinical Laboratory Science, and a Bachelor's degree from Southeast Missouri State University.
