Brad Sheriff is the Vice President of Finance and Administration at Southeast Missouri State University. Brad has over 20 years of experience in finance and administration, including serving as the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration / Chief Financial Officer at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. In this role, they oversaw an annual operating budget of $80M, 650 faculty and staff, 6700 students, and a 170 acre campus. Brad also provided executive leadership to a team of professional managers and staff responsible for delivering effective, efficient, and "best practice" services that enable the work of faculty, staff, and students across the University while advancing the University's strategic goals. Other areas of responsibility included financial oversight of auxiliary services, real estate, and contractual/financial oversight of outsourced services.

Brad Sheriff began their educational career by earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Greenville University. Brad then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield. After working in the business world for a few years, they decided to return to school to earn a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Global Leadership with a specialization in Higher Education Administration from the Indiana Institute of Technology. Brad has also completed a Higher Education Management Institute at Harvard Graduate School of Education. In addition to their degrees, Brad Sheriff is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
