Perla A. Castillo Ontiveros

Perla A. Castillo Ontiveros has extensive experience in education and coaching, currently serving as a Teacher Aid, Spanish Teacher, and English Second Language Teacher at the Southeastern California Conference of SDA since August 2021. Previous roles include Lead Preschool Teacher at Elkhart & St Joseph County Head Start Consortium and various positions at Ozark Adventist Academy, including Assistant Volleyball Coach and Assistant Women Basketball Coach. Perla's experience also encompasses teaching roles at Burleson Adventist School and the Texico Conference Association of Seventh-day Adventists, as well as coaching positions and director roles in summer camps. Perla holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching from Southwestern Adventist University, where studies were completed from August 2012 to May 2016.
