Manny Burgos has extensive work experience in the field of asset protection and loss prevention. Emmanuel "Manny" began their career in 1997 as a Loss Prevention Detective at Burdines (Macys) Federated Department Stores. Emmanuel "Manny" then progressed to roles such as Loss Prevention Supervisor and Loss Prevention Manager, where they implemented procedures to reduce shrink and managed a team of specialists.
In 2003, Manny joined The Home Depot as a Loss Prevention Manager and later became the District Asset Protection Operations Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for managing and directing tactical asset protection programs, improving operational performance, and conducting assessments.
From 2013 to 2017, Manny served as an Area Loss Prevention Manager at Bed Bath & Beyond, where they oversaw loss prevention efforts for multiple locations.
Since 2017, Manny has been with Southeastern Grocers, starting as a District Asset Protection Specialist and progressing to Regional Asset Protection Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director- Regional Asset Protection and Director, Field AP Operations.
Throughout their career, Manny has demonstrated strong leadership skills, a commitment to maximizing shareholder value, and a focus on customer service.
Emmanuel "Manny" Burgos completed the Wicklander-Zulawski Interview and Interrogation Certification in 1999. From 1996 to 1997, they obtained a Fire Fighter State Certification from Lake County Vo-Tech. Additionally, they pursued an Associate of Science degree in Business at Miami Dade College.
