Richard Brenner

Richard Brenner has extensive experience in asset protection and corporate investigations, holding various leadership roles since December 2015 at Southeastern Grocers, including Director of Field AP Operations and Director of Corporate Investigations. Previous positions include Asset Protection Manager at The Home Depot, where responsibilities included developing a safety culture and mitigating company losses, and District Asset Protection Manager at Sports Authority, where management of Asset Protection programs for 18 stores was key. Richard also served as a detective with the Sweetwater Police Department, focusing on investigations of serious crimes and involvement with the Department of Homeland Security's Organized Retail Crime task force. Additional experience includes managing loss prevention initiatives at Office Depot and past roles at Burdines. Richard has consistently demonstrated the ability to build relationships and drive shrink reduction strategies throughout a diverse career in loss prevention.
