Christy Valente

Christy Valente, MBA, serves as the Manager of Technology Strategy at TELUS, where responsibilities include leading the Quality Management team to ensure the reliability of Fibre build and Small Cell programs across Canada. Previously, Christy held the position of Manager of Operations at TELUS, overseeing a 55-member Outside Plant Construction team in Southern Alberta and successfully implementing operational improvements, including cost avoidance strategies and project management platform integration. At SAIT Polytechnic, Christy has fulfilled multiple roles, including Manager of Operations and Distance Education Coordinator, focusing on strategic initiatives, team restructuring, and curriculum development. Prior experience includes roles at Service Intelligence, Inc. where Christy managed internal business improvement projects and enhanced sales processes. Christy Valente holds an Executive MBA from Haskayne School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from St. Francis Xavier University.
