Deb Simoes

Deb Simoes is an experienced educator and professional with a diverse background in higher education and health services. Currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor and Teaching & Learning Partner at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) since March 2023, Deb has previously held roles such as Program Operations Specialist at the University of Calgary and Client Relations Specialist at Alberta Health Services. Additional experience includes positions at Amazon as a Human Resources Generalist and multiple roles at the University of Calgary, including Research Coordinator, Graduate Program & Admissions Advisor, and Ancillary Services Specialist. Deb Simoes holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Western University, a Master's degree in Business/Commerce from the Haskayne School of Business, and various qualifications from the University of Calgary, including certificates in Human Resources Management and Career Development & Advising.
