Laurie Sutherland

Vice President Finance And Corporate Services (interim) at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology

Laurie Sutherland has extensive work experience in finance, corporate services, administration, and business advisory services. Laurie started their career as a Commercial Manager at ERCO Worldwide in 1998 and later joined Alberta Health Services in 2002 where they worked in financial and business advisory services until 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they served as the Vice President of Administration at Grande Prairie Regional College. Since 2014, Laurie has been associated with the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, first as an Associate Vice President of Finance and then as the Interim Vice President of Finance and Corporate Services.

Laurie Sutherland's education history includes attending Queen's University from 2013 to 2015, where they studied Executive Management at the Queen's School of Business. In 2002, they obtained a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) degree from CMA Alberta.
