Deborah Grimes Ed.d.

Deborah Grimes, Ed.D., currently serves as a SACSCOC Substantive Change Reviewer at the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) since December 2021, focusing on the accreditation of higher education institutions across the Southern states and internationally. Prior to this role, Deborah Grimes held various leadership positions at Lenoir Community College from April 2006 to January 2022, including Senior Vice President of Instruction and Student Services, Vice President of Academic and Student Services, and Director of Planning, Research, and Institutional Effectiveness, where responsibilities included serving as the SACSCOC Liaison. Education was completed at the College of Education at East Carolina University.
