Hal Snyder

Hal Snyder has extensive experience in human resources and operations, having served as Chief Human Resources & Administrative Officer and Vice President at SoCalGas from February 2003 until retirement in June 2018. Responsibilities included oversight of staffing, diversity and inclusion, emergency services, and customer solutions. Prior roles included Vice President at San Diego Gas & Electric. Hal Snyder holds an MBA from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and a BSc in Civil Engineering from California State University, Long Beach. In addition to corporate roles, Hal Snyder contributes as a Trustee Board Member at the California Science Center and has held leadership positions such as Past Vice Chair and Chair of the California Science Fair.
