Sandy Cook is an experienced engineering professional specializing in corrosion and inspection for pipelines and well casings. Currently serving as Team Lead and Project Manager II at SoCalGas since March 2021, Sandy is a principal and subject matter expert in preventative maintenance for buried pipelines, effectively utilizing a CMMS to ensure 100% compliance with company standards. Previously, Sandy held roles at Chevron as a Terminal Engineer, focusing on maintenance and reliability for multiple terminals, and at bp in various corrosion engineering positions, facilitating crucial discussions with PHMSA during audits. Sandy's career also includes a senior engineering position at Peoples Gas, providing expertise in corrosion and inspection. Sandy holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
