Shane Harris

Shane Harris is an experienced professional in volunteer program management and information technology. Currently serving as the Fire Lookout Program Manager at Southern California Mountains Foundation since March 2022, Shane oversees the recruitment, training, and supervision of volunteers while ensuring compliance with Forest Service standards. As Chairperson and Training Officer for the Forest Fire Lookout Association - San Diego Riverside since April 2014, Shane manages volunteer training for the Cleveland National Forest. Prior to these roles, Shane worked as an IT Technical Trainer at Approved Transportation and Warehousing, where training programs were tailored to address multi-state organizational needs. Furthermore, Shane spent nearly two decades at Holiday Travel of America, first as Information Technology Manager, managing a technical infrastructure, and previously as Systems Administrator, focusing on system maintenance and support. Education includes credentials from Roncalli College and Saint Patricks Boys High School in New Zealand.
