Ashley Alvarado has extensive experience in community engagement and strategic initiatives within the journalism industry. Ashley has held various roles at Southern California Public Radio, Journalism That Matters, California Watch, and other organizations. Ashley's work focuses on diversifying news coverage, engaging with communities, and fostering collaboration to support thriving communities through journalism. Ashley holds a Bachelor's degree in Print Journalism and Spanish from the University of Southern California and has completed a leadership program at the Harvard Kennedy School.
