Jim Hamlin

Jim Hamlin has extensive experience in mechanical design, particularly within environmental and nuclear projects. Since October 1981, Hamlin has served as a Senior Mechanical Designer at Southern Company, where responsibilities include mechanical design and 3D modeling for environmental projects and retrofit design. Prior to this role, Hamlin worked at Southern Nuclear from 1981 to 2008 as a Senior Designer, specializing in the mechanical design and modifications of nuclear facilities, and holds ACAD 98-004 qualification from the National Academy for Nuclear Training. Earlier experience includes a position as a Designer at Brown Mechanical from March 1979 to September 1980, where Hamlin prepared multi-discipline coordination drawings and piping isometrics.
