Shari Sykes

Shari Sykes is an accomplished Human Resources professional with extensive experience within the Southern Company and its associated entities. Shari served as the Director of Human Resources at Southern Company Gas and has held various managerial positions, including Human Resources Manager roles in System Generation, Georgia Power Generation, and Southern Nuclear, where Shari was also a Project Manager for Vogtle 3&4. Prior to these roles, Shari was responsible for Human Resource Delivery, Talent Management, and Disability Management at Mississippi Power. With a foundational background as a Human Resources Business Consultant at Southern Company and Southern LINC Wireless, as well as a Benefits Coordinator at Southern Electric International, Shari has developed a strong expertise in the field. Educational qualifications include an ABJ in Journalism from The University of Georgia and a completion of a program at Emory University's Goizueta Business School in 2010.
