Tammra began their career as a Senior Tax Attorney at the Internal Revenue Service Office of Chief Counsel in 2009 and then moved on to become a Tax Manager at Deloitte Tax LLP in 2012. In 2015, they joined Southern Company as a Principal, specializing in tax planning, research, and federal audits.

Tammra Credit has a solid educational background. Tammra pursued their law studies at two renowned institutions. Beginning in 1999, they attended the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 2003. Following this, Tammra further advanced their legal expertise by enrolling in Vanderbilt University Law School from 2006 to 2008, where they earned their Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Finally, they attended New York University School of Law in 2008 and 2009, completing a Master of Laws (LLM) degree with a specialization in Taxation.
