Jorge Luis Talavera Anaya

Jorge Luis Talavera Anaya has extensive experience in community development and social management within the mining and environmental sectors. Since July 2015, Jorge Luis has been the Community Development Coordinator at Southern Peru Copper Corporation, focusing on stakeholder analysis and community development strategies to maintain social licenses for operations in Toquepala and Cuajone. Previously, Jorge Luis held various roles at Petroperú S.A., including Head of Community Relations and Community Relations Supervisor, managing social programs for the Talara refinery project and mining clients. Additional experience includes positions at the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Peru, Proyecto MIM Perú with the International Finance Corporation, and Social Capital Group S.A.C. Jorge Luis holds a Master's degree in Social Management and has completed international diplomas related to sustainability, communication, and leadership.
