Kim Franks

Kim Franks has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Kim has held various HR and leadership roles in different companies. Currently, they serve as the Vice President People & Culture at Southern Cross University. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief People Officer at Aeris Resources Limited from 2021 to 2023. From 2014 to 2020, they were associated with New Hope Group, where they held the positions of Executive General Manager - People and General Manager - People. Kim also worked at BHP Billiton as Lead HR Business Partnership BMA and HR Manager - Operations BMC. Additionally, they served as the HR Manager - Delivery at Santos Limited, Human Resources Manager at LINC ENERGY LTD and Nicol Robinson Halletts Lawyers, and Human Resources Consultant at Deloitte Consulting. Kim Franks started their career at BHP Billiton as a Safety Coordinator, Improvement Coordinator, and Project Administrator.

Kim Franks earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations & Organisational Behaviour from Griffith University between 1996 and 2002.
