Nicole Ryan

Nicole Ryan is a Senior Research Fellow at Southern Cross University, overseeing the research components of several health-focused projects aimed at supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women in smoking cessation and healthy pregnancies. Previously, Ryan served as a Postdoctoral Research Manager and contributed to initiatives at the University of Newcastle, specializing in mobile app development for maternal health and smoking cessation. With extensive experience in clinical research, particularly in respiratory medicine and envenoming, Ryan has held various academic roles, including Project Manager for clinical teaching initiatives. Ryan's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Chronic Cough and multiple qualifications in science and chemical process technology from the University of Newcastle and Newcastle TAFE College.
