Emil De Jong is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Charlotte Regional Manager and Quality Assurance Designee at Southern Energy Management since February 2017. Emil has also held various roles within the company, including Team Lead and Building Performance Field Technician. In addition, Emil works as a Graduate Assistant at Appalachian State University since January 2016, focusing on solar system monitoring equipment installation and assistance with lab activities involving small wind turbines. Previous experience includes project management positions at Treetop Trekking and Tree-Mendous Forest Adventure Parks from 2012 to 2016. Emil holds a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Technology from Appalachian State University.
