Mike Neptune

Mike Neptune possesses extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Lead Solar Educator at Southern Energy Management since August 2016. Previously, Mike held various roles including Inside Sales and Marketing for Solar Canvassing at the same company. Prior to this, Mike worked at Carrboro Solar Works as an Installer/Technician specializing in residential solar PV systems and gained additional experience in energy efficiency during an internship with the North Carolina Building Performance Association. Mike's background also includes technical roles at Solar Consultants and a long tenure as a Band Director and Teacher with diverse educational institutions. Mike holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from East Carolina University and an Associate’s Degree in Sustainability, along with several certificates in related fields.
