Marco Corona

Marco Corona is an accomplished development professional with extensive experience in nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Individual Giving at Southern Environmental Law Center since April 2023, Marco has previously held significant roles such as Chief Development Officer at the International African American Museum and One80 Place, as well as Director of Development and Donor Engagement at Education Leaders of Color. With a foundational career beginning at Best Buddies California where Marco advanced from High School Program Manager to Deputy Director, additional roles include Development Director at Jamestown Community Center and Major Gifts Officer at Trident United Way. Marco holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Chicana/o Studies from UCLA, earned between 1997 and 2002.
