Samantha Baars

Samantha Baars is an experienced digital content manager and journalist with a focus on environmental issues. Currently serving as the Digital Content Manager at the Southern Environmental Law Center since May 2019, Samantha writes and reports on climate change stories while managing various digital content projects. In addition, Samantha has extensive freelance writing experience with publications such as C-VILLE Weekly, The University of Virginia, and Bridgewater University, and continues to work as a reporter for C-VILLE Weekly, where award-winning stories have been produced. Previous roles include News Editor at The Breeze, where editorial management was conducted, and content creation for the John C. Wells Planetarium. Samantha holds a Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts & Design from James Madison University.
